In the summer of 2012, a local couple stumbled upon a dilapidated chest left for trash at the St. Pius X Church’s annual flea market in Chili, NY. Little did they know that inside the trunk was an accidental time capsule containing clothing, documents, pictures, and other personal effects belonging to Charles A. Ritz, which had been locked away and preserved for more than fifty years.
