THE 39th ANNUAL SHULTS LECTURE IN CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALITY
Will be given by Bishop Matthew Clark on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at 7:00 p.m.The Shults Lecture will take place in the Linehan Chapel located in the Golisano Academic Building on the campus of Nazareth College. (This is the chapel of the former SSJ Motherhouse located at 4245 East Ave, Rochester, 14618). Pre-registration is not required. The lecture begins at 7PM and is free and open to the public. Bishop Clark's Lecture is entitled, Prayers for the Church: The Legacy of Vatican II. Please feel free to attend.

Sunday, June 2, 2013, from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.Camp Stella Maris announces its annual Open House to be held this year on Sunday, June 2nd from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Open House is a chance to meet the counselors and staff, take a tour of Camp, or just get the answer for any last minute questions you might have regarding this summer.
Not registered for camp yet? Space is still available for Day Camp, Resident Camp, Overnight Experience, and Leadership Camps this summer. Check out our website for up to date availability.

CATHOLICISM VIDEO SERIES
Thursdays in May at St. Pius TenthFather Robert Barron engages his viewers with a passion for Catholic teaching explaining our rich Christian heritage in exquisite paintings, on location in the Holy Land and Rome, and in churches and shrines around the world with the Body of Christ in prayer and worship.
We will be meeting on the Thursdays of May (except for Ascension Thursday) for the first (4) DVD sessions. We will watch the video from 7-8 p.m. in the Parish Center with gathering afterwards. Invite your family & friends, Catholic and non-Catholic, those who have stopped coming to church. Teens are welcome. Babysitting is provided for young children. Refreshments will be served. Each week a unique topic is presented, so you can attend just one, two, or all of the sessions!
Seeking: Passionate and Reliable Social Media Volunteer(s)
St. Pius Tenth Church is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with the Church's presence on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Improve your resume (or college application) and the Church’s social media at the same time by channeling your creativity to engage the on-line community. You can choose to work with one or all of our social media accounts, requiring approximately 2-3 hours per week per media source. Previous experience preferred. FLEA MARKET NEWS!!
It’s not too early to begin saving items for the flea market. Please keep us in mind as you begin your spring cleaning! We will not officially be collecting until approximately July 1st. Donations of paper towels and cleaning supplies are most appreciated. If you would like to donate supplies, please mark them for the flea market and leave them in the back of Church. A NEW YEAR -- A NEW OPPORTUNITY
Looking for Volunteer DriversMany older folks in our community have given up their keys and no longer drive. Yet, they still need to get to medical appointments, go shopping, do their banking, have their hair cut. Can You Help? If you have a couple of hours a week, or even a couple of hours a month, consider being a volunteer driver. You can select your geographic area and the times you wish to drive. You will be provided with training, and supplemental accident and liability insurance. You may receive a discount on your automobile insurance.

HOME CARE SERVICES
Caregivers are available from the Sister of St. Joseph. Sisters Care offers non-medical home care services: companionship, spiritual support, housekeeping, transportation and respite for family caregivers. A Sister can be available once a week for two or three hours. Fees are negotiable. Please contact Sr. Elizabeth Leonard at 458-8540 for more info.
Hospital Visits
Staff members visit the area hospitals on a weekly basis. However, occasionally the hospital either does not notify us or have the information that a St. Pius Tenth parishioner has been admitted. Please contact the Parish Office (247-2566) to let us know when a loved one is in or going to be admitted to a hospital, and we will make every effort to visit.
