Greetings to all SPX Parishioners

As you know, work at our church construction site has begun!
During construction, there is a tradition or rite celebrated by commercial builders known as “topping out” when the final beam is placed atop the structure. Builders typically mark this occasion with a public ceremony. New Energy Works, the company erecting the wooden trusses on our church, is planning a “Topping Out” Ceremony, scheduled for Thursday August 10th @ 1:00 p.m.  Everyone, including Bishop Matano, diocesan and parish staff, heads of local government, members of the media, contractors and parishioners are invited to participate in this ceremony.  We hope can attend.
THANK YOU!
In case you haven’t seen it, here newspaper article that appeared in the Friday, August 4th edition of the Democrat & Chronicle concerning our church rebuilding effort.

A Pastoral Letter From The Most Reverend Salvatore R. Matano, Bishop of Rochester on the Year of the Eucharist 2017-2018, commemorating the Diocese of Rochester’s Sesquicentennial Celebration.

The first steel members have been erected on the site of our new church!
