Prayer for Spiritual Communion
My Jesus,
I believe that You are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You
into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You
as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.

We offer Livestreamed and recorded Masses as a service to all those who are unable to attend Mass in person.
During the pandemic praying together, even in this remote way,
helps us reinforce our faith and our sense of community.
We encourage you to subscribe to St. Pius X Church YouTube Channel

Make sure that sound on your computer/iPad is “on” and that the volume is turned up.

Using a cell phone?
Some of the older cell phones and mobile devices will not allow you to hear the SJR sound on the “Speaker” setting.   On these devices, you must plug earphones into your phone in order to hear the sound.

Using a Smart TV?
If you use a smart TV or TV with Roku, you must first download the most recent version of your browser.
Otherwise, you may get a security warning or may not be able to connect at all.
* NOTE:  Our Parish Staff can unfortunately not help facilitate all the different TV scenarios and connection issues you may encounter on your TV.

Spiritual Communion
It has long been a Catholic understanding that when circumstances prevent one from receiving Holy Communion, it is possible to make an Act of Spiritual Communion, which is a source of grace.
Spiritual Communion is an ardent desire to receive Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament and lovingly embrace him at a time or in circumstances when one cannot receive Him in sacramental Communion.
The most common reason for making an Act of Spiritual Communion is when a person cannot attend Mass. Acts of Spiritual Communion increase our desire to receive sacramental Communion and help us avoid the sins that would make us unable to receive Holy Communion worthily.
