To prepare for the Sunday Monthly Gathering in November,
families did a small amount of research at home
and prepared a Creative Expression about one of their own Patron Saints
that was shared with others at our November gatherings.
Our families found out what saints had Feast Days on their birthdays
and what saints were connected with their names –
since these saints are some of their Patron Saints.
A Patron Saint is considered a special intercessor with God
and merits a special form of religious observance.
Each person picked one of their Patron Saints
and researched why they were declared saints
and what they are well known for.
In light of their understanding about their saint
and how this saint inspired them
to live a life of faith
they CHOSE A CREATIVE WAY to help us understand:
*How this person became a saint OR
is on the path towards sainthood
